We ACTUALLY had a full week this time, AND we even learned a couple new things. Most of the week was figuring out how to make a certain Hulk picture. We connected the wire frame starter image by learning about the pathfinder tool and how it makes shapes out of other shapes when overlapping, not just any shape that happens to overlap. These shapes can CORRECTLY COLOR AND DOESN'T CLOSE ITSELF OFF. This apparently takes two attempts to figure out, just saying. We also learned that there is ANOTHER MODE TO SEE IF LINES ACTUALLY BOLD OR A COLOR ACTUALLY FILLS OR NOT. We also used the pen tool, which is actually a nice and simple tool, when I sculpted Hulk's features, it was pretty fun and I was proud of myself. Well, I guess I should research the Bezier tool, since it's the only tool with an traceable history attached to it. So, apparently, the Bezier curve is not just a tool or curve, it's a mathematical equation. It was developed by Pierre Bezier in the 1970s. He developed it while working for Renault for their car bodies. I don't just know this because we had a VERY short point about this in the history in the first lesson we had. There was also another equation used to make curves slightly differently, the De Casteljau Equation. It's curve is can be slightly rounder, but is really similar. But, each of these are best when the situation calls for either. Um, what did we learn?

So, we had another week that was only two days, but, we still learned enough to write something about. Now, we are on the topic on Adobe Illustrator, which is similar to Photoshop, but has specific differences. Like the Transform is not it's own editing thing, it's can now be done is any sort of window, no matter what tool you're in. illustrator also has ways to organize your images and text, like top to bottom order or distributing. But overall, Illustrator is mostly used for fancy texts or making images that are more crisp, like a logo. While, Photoshop is mostly used for in- depth editing or drawing. Now, for some research. The making of Illustrator is similar to Photoshop, a program for making images starting out on Macintosh, then spread from there. But, this is the PREMIERE Vector Graphic Program. Since, it uses math to make it's more intricate curves and lines, an example of this would be the Bezier Curve tool. So, the Adobe Illustrator would have some competition, but in the end, it became the popular Vector Graphic Thing. So, we learned that:

Hopefully, Mr. B doesn't start grading at six in the morning. So, as I uploaded my work and made this blog post. I really started to think if I put off work until I have to do it.
I realized that I still finished my work, so I think my procrastination is still off put by the fact that I turn in the work. But, it still makes me feel like a busy, hard working student, staying up to catch up on work. This is an odd parallel that I had to talk about at the end of, what I would call an early End of Quarter check marathon of stuff, due to the quarter ending. So, to end this I am going to say I work, but when I have to work. Which is probably why this blog post is so short, and it's six in the morning. Remember the event when the blog post and two personal blog post where due on the same weekend? Well, that day is due on FRIDAY now. So, I have to wake up at six just to make two personal blog posts, on two different days. So, I think I should make a post structured a bit like the usual blog post, but a little less formal.
We are learning about vector graphics, which is a little bit like bitmap. But, the program, Adobe Illustrator, is different in that most of the drawing tools are, well, weird. It's a little hard to describe how, but it's like the Google Drawings curve tools. But, the advantages are clear in Illustrator, specific curved shapes and different images in the same file come to mind. So, we learned about how Adobe Illustrator is used, the Bezier Tool, and the major differences between Photoshop and Illustrator. Well, see you next morning. I already have a draft for tomorrow. Actually, we didn't have too much of a class to talk about, because of winter break, early release days, and absent days due to snow.
So, what do we talk about, I could just talk about the bitmap image and the learning process, which i'm not even done with as this post. Well, we had to recreate an image and use tutorials to make individual parts of the image. But, the processes to do each are pretty ingenious, using each of the tools to get a certain thing we want our way. It feels like a sort of rite of passage, that is, to use each of the tools to make a full image. This is why this project is taking a while, we have to make seven different elements, which each use tools that don't take that long. But, the order and sequence makes it harder to really do fast, for me anyway. So, what did we review, I should say:
